Finding the right frames is about so much more than choosing what looks good—discovering a pair that fits your face, lifestyle, and individuality is the ultimate goal. You might need new frames for reading, general life, a special occasion (maybe you’re attending a wedding, where lots of photos will be taken), or maybe you are simply searching for sunglasses to enjoy the sunny months ahead. The easiest way to seek your eyewear out (and have fun while you’re doing it!) - is through a personalised, complimentary 1:1 styling session. Our expert team will guide you on your journey to find frames that suit you and suit your needs, with no obligations.

Co-founder of Index Optical, Lynne Parker, knows a thing or two about finding the perfect frames. She has travelled extensively around the world meeting the minds behind the greatest eyewear brands, bringing the latest trends and designs back home to New Zealand. With this keen eye for style and a love for fashion, she has helped numerous people find confidence in eyewear over the years. Lynne helps guide her clients to eyewear that suits their bone structure, colouring, and lifestyle requirements. She finds it exciting to “challenge my lovely customers a little, taking you out of your comfort zone, but not so much that you don’t feel excited and comfortable wearing your new glasses. It’s a chance to play with styles and looks.” Every client is unique, with different likes, dislikes, and needs - something Lynne holds up as a kind of ‘styling philosophy’.
During your appointment, we’ll take you through our curated collection of eyewear, featuring everything from modern and edgy designs from the likes of Loewe, Prada, and Miu Miu, to timeless classics like Garret Leight, Oakley, and Moscot. Whether you need stylish glasses for work, chic sunnies for the weekend, or a versatile everyday pair, our stylists will help you discover frames that tick all the boxes.
But where to start? It can be overwhelming finding and investing in new frames, so our experts will explain frame materials and lens options, help you pick the perfect colour, and most importantly ensure you are confident in your choice. We’ll even share styling tips so your new eyewear complements your wardrobe effortlessly.
And don’t stress about deciding on the spot, there is no pressure to purchase anything in the moment. As Lynne says “Some of our clients find that they are so happy that they want their eyewear straight away, others need time to process and think about it - that’s absolutely fine. This is simply a chance to explore what might look good on you and have some fun playing with different eyewear looks."
So what are you waiting for? Step into our world of style and comfort and book in your Styling Session today! Or, if you’re looking for that perfect gift but just don’t know what to pick?
